Sardinia:
the island of treasures

A network of companies that aims to increase the knowledge of their land, of agri-food products and of the tourist and cultural offer all over the world.
The internationalisation project aimed at promoting Sardinia's naturalistic beauties, tourist-cultural sites and food and wine excellences around the world is called Sardinia Beyond the Sea. And we are at the "second episode". In fact, the project, which started for the first edition in 2017, is now taking off in the true sense of the word (in October 2022, the first appointment at SIAL, the Food Exhibition in Paris).
Sardinia Beyond the Sea is the best practice to follow: teaming up by enhancing the typicality and identity spirit of Sardinia. Being together and optimising our efforts all the more in a dramatic historical period, between pandemics, wars, sky-rocketing costs of production and raw materials.
The project, of which Legacoop Sardegna is the leader, is a great opportunity for the member cooperatives to expand their market and improve their positioning abroad.
This second project focuses on the Chinese, Canadian, US and French markets for the agri-food sector, and on the European markets for the tourism-cultural sector. In addition to the "incoming" events that will be organised in the area, the project is also focused on the buyers who will visit the local realities.  
The project is financed through the POR FESR Sardinia 2014-2020 Action 3.4.1.
