The Cooperative “Penisola del Sinis” promotes and valorizes the historical, archaeological and environmental heritage of the territory of Cabras (OR). Designated as Marine Protected Area, this region is extremely rich in historical and archaeological evidence, traditions and religious events, renowned food and wine products.
On behalf of the Foundation Mont’e Prama, the Cooperative manages the Archaeological Museum of Cabras, the archaeological site of Tharros, the Spanish tower of San Giovanni di Sinis and the Paleochristian church of San Giovanni di Sinis.
The Cooperative provides:
– guided tours in the managed sites;
– itineraries in historical and environmental places accompanied by local tourist guides;
– workshops, educational and experiential activities for children and adults;
– tours with the “little train of Tharros”;
– selling local products;
– tourist information services.
