The Spiaggia del Riso camping village started in 1978. Over the decades, the partners built the entire campsite. Over time, they have gone from being able to accommodate 400 to 910 units. Consequently, the campsite was extended and it now spreads over 6 hectares.

The Spiaggia del Riso camping village is a historical tourist accommodation in Villasimius, located in the beautiful area along its namesake beach. The village lies on a territory that also holds a 60,000 square foot pine forest along the seashore and is also home to 217 stopping places for tents and caravans, 36 independent bungalows, 6 cosy double rooms and one accommodating self-service restaurant serving local cuisine.

The complex also provides many services including a supermarket, a news stand with both national and international newspapers and magazines, 24 barbecues between three different locations at the campsite, 62 outdoor and indoor showers (the latter provide hot water), and 40 bathrooms and toilets over 3 areas.  

The Spiaggia del Riso also provides typical beach services and therefore also offers many different sports and entertainment activities. The site is perfect for families. The atmosphere and services are ideal for relaxing and being at one with nature. The site is laid out as a typical campsite/seaside resort. The beach directly ahead of the campsite is sand-only and great for children.
